Dishforth is a village and civil parish in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire. The name Dishforth translates from the Old English as dic-ford; a ford by a dike or ditch. The Electoral Roll 2022 -2023 shows 762 electors (residents who can vote in an election), and approximately 405 dwellings. Dishforth is located north of Dishforth Airfield, which up until April 2016 was an Army Air Corps helicopter station. Watch this space for further information.
